Mar Thoma College is situated in the heart of the village, Chungathara in an area consisting of 18 acres including five acres of rubber plantations. It is a college for rural development and was established in the year 1981. There are 4 main blocks of buildings where classes are conducted. Administrative building, science block, library block and old block. All these buildings are linked with corridors.
